Mushroom Pepper Fry

Tired of non-veg dishes,then try this mushroom sidedish..coz as we all know mushrooms are rich in antioxidents and rich in proteins...it's good for kids.My family loves this dish with dhal..

Ingredients:
Button Mushrooms-200gms
Big Onion-3no(chopped fine)
Capsicum-1(chopped)(i've not added coz my kid & hubby will not touch )
Curry leaves-few
Turmeric-1/4tsp
Chicken Masala-1/2tsp(I used Aachi brand)
Ground pepper powder-3/4tsp
Jeera-1/2tsp
Oil-2tsp
Salt to taste

Method:
1.Wash the mushrooms till the water is clear,Cut into small bits and keep aside.
2.Heat a kadai with some oil,splutter jeera add the chopped onion and curry leaves.
3.Saute the onions till golden and add the chicken masala and turmeric powder and give a quick stir,sprinkle some water and add the mushrooms and saute for 2minutes and add less than 1/4cup water cover and cook.
4,Check if the mushrooms are cooked,then add the peepr powder and stir well for 1minute and serve hot with any dhal,roti,
5.This can be wrapped in as a filling for kati rolls too.

Good one sab... you can also try with mutton masala... gives another flavor...
