Sura Puttu

Sauting the ingredients

Shredded shark meat with red chilly powder


Shark pieces-1/2 kg
Turmeric-1/2 tsp
Onion-3 finely chopped
Curry leaves-few
Green chilly-3no(finely chopped)
Ginger garlic paste-1tsp
Red chilli powder-1tsp

1.Wash the shark pieces and boil water in a vessel add 1/4 tsp turmeric and salt to taste,bring to boil then add the shark pieces and cover and cook over medium flame till cooked.
2.Allow the fish to cool straining the water and remove the skin and shred the fish and mix in the red chilly powder and keep aside
3.Heat a kadai,add oil fry the onion and green chilly & curry leaves saute well add the ginger garlic paste and fry till raw smell disappears.
4.Then add the shredded fish meat and saute till everything is blended and fry over medium flame taking care not to burn.
5.Mix well till it luks like puttu..grainy textured..
6.Serve garnished with fresh coriander leaves and finely chopped onion.
